Had an emergency my bumper was coming off and came in last minute. I just needed it to stay back on until I trade my car in and he was able to do it in 30 minutes. Phil has been in the business for 45 years and his son works along side with him and they work miracles. They are very honest and will show you exactly what is needed and their price is fair. In Chicago there aren’t many professional mechanics but they have worked miracles for people. If you ever need extensive work or a quick fix give him a call! They take cash only please go to the atm before arrival. Will be coming for all my families repairs and bringing my friends here too!

I had a great experience getting my 2007 Honda Accord repaired here. My left tail light and bumper was hit in an accident and Phil was able to order the part and repair it very quickly (in just a couple days). Phil has gained my trust as he is an honest and straightforward mechanic, on top of that he gave me a really fair price and went above and beyond by taking care of a few additional things he noticed. You can tell he takes pride in his work—very detailed, thorough, and knows what he’s doing. It’s also great to support someone who genuinely cares about helping people in the local community. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable and trustworthy mechanic.

Conclusion: Phil is the best in town! No one knows auto body work better than him. Phil is definitely amazing, he is professional sincere and friendly, his son Nick is also so helpful and nice. Phil would tell you what you need to fix and try to help you save something. I unfortunately wrecked my bumper by the highway flying debris, Phil got it fixed and made it almost a brand new car AT MOST REASONABLE PRICE, I bet you can’t find any other auto body shop like Phil’s. When I drove it back to my workplace, two of my coworkers asked Phil’s contact immediately.

I experienced a horrible hit and run where me entire right side was destroyed, terrible damage internally, and insurance didn’t even cover it (I have better insurance now). Phil and his son got my car back to me in 3 weeks (took a little longer due to the extent of the damage) and literally returned it brand new! He did some extra touch ups to the car, free of charge, and I’ve seen many women trust him for good pricing and great service. I love the extra attention to detail, he drove 30 miles in the rain for a small extra part, and cleaned up the car really well too! I’m very happy I didn’t take the car to those big fancy places that overcharge, he took care of me like family. I’m bringing all my family and friends here from now on.

Phill is really good at what he does. He brought my Mercedes Benz S550 back to life, it looks like a brand new vehicle. 10/10 would definitely recommend. His work is super clean and he got the job done with in the time frame we agreed upon. Expect immaculate work from him because that’s all he offers. Your in good hands when doing business with Phill’s Auto Body!
